Autumn in Central Park

A walk in the park on a beautiful sunny cold (not too cold) Sunday.  We had hoped to get another view of the Mandarin Duck but we weren’t so lucky this time.  However, we came upon the colorful foliage that embraced the trees in Central Park.

It was also the NYC Marathon of 2018.  The park was boisterous along the paths that had supporters cheering away the runners (and kudos to them for the 26.2 miles – 42.16 kilometers run) BUT there are always spots to escape in this Park.

  1. When I was a teenager living in New Jersey, I often took the bus into NYC and walked around the city, including the Met and Central Park. So beautiful.
