How many languages do you you speak?
Between the two of us, Cho and MZ, languages spoken are English, Burmese (mother tongue) and French.
What are you reading, watching, listening to, eating?
Reading, watching, listening to, eating – MZ is visiting her Dad back in Myanmar so she is taking the chance to read as much as possible books of all sorts – “A Monster Calls”, “The Girl on the Train”, a reread of “Lord of the Rings 1”. She is watching a lot of documentaries and news, not that latter brings any good ones. Listening to the birds chirping in the garden of MZ’s Dad house while Cho who is in NYC listens to the honking horns of congested traffic. MZ is eating the organic vegetables and fruits of Asia; Cho on the other hand is “trying to enjoy” the food that is available in the office cafeteria.
What was the last photo you took with your phone?
This is the last pic MZ took with her phone in her garden in Myanmar.
What is your favorite time of day?
Our favorite time of day is after work – of course!!!
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
MZ arrived in Yangon (Rangoon) last week and is grateful to be back visiting her Dad, who turned 99. Cho is pleased to hear that her mother is still in good health and is able to send her best wishes on Mother’s day.
Next week, it will be another story. I guess we will be grateful that the world is still at peace.
